Cyber Monday, Black Friday, and every other shopping day, combined with walking into any store, remind you what Christmas is all about.

Not for one, Tuscaloosa man and business owner, Jody Taylor, owner of South’s Finest Roofing in Tuscaloosa.

Taylor has built a successful business that makes it a point to lead the industry with a big heart.

Everyone who does business with South's Finest Roofing raves about their products, consistency, and great staff. They also love how committed they are to our local community.

This is the chief reason why the company, South's Finest Roofing is hosting a Christmas charity for children this year.

The event is this Saturday, December 7 at Snow Hinton Park from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Of course, Santa will be there for the kids from 1-4 p.m.

They will also have activities for children and teenagers like arts and crafts, bounce houses, inflatable slides, and obstacle courses plus carnival-style football, baseball, and basketball.

The event is free and open to the public with armbands being sold for children to enjoy all activities during the event. All proceeds from armbands will go to Toys for Tots in Alabama.

Taylor says the generosity of Tuscaloosa-area businesses Helus Construction, ABC Supply Co., Bell Construction, Closets Plus, and GAF helped make the event possible for West Alabama.
