Judge Rules Doss Family Lawsuit Can Continue

In an unusual development today, a judge in Tuscaloosa County denied a motion from the legal team representing the alleged killer of Nurse Ada Doss, Matthew Taylor, which attempted to halt the wrongful death lawsuit for 60 days. Ada Doss was the victim of a shooting back in May of this year. Ada's husband, Andrew, is represented by father and son legal team Paul and North Patterson.

Reports of extremely odd behavior have surfaced about Taylor while he has been in jail in Tuscaloosa County. Some reports have stated that the murder suspect refuses food, consumes his own feces, among other bizarre behavior since his incarceration.  The attorney representing Matthew Taylor is J. Michael Comer. Attorney Paul Patterson told the Tuscaloosa Thread tonight that the 60-day request was a "last-minute" shift and that Judge Corey Seale was quick to deny today's request for a 60-day stay of their client's case against DCH and Allied Security.

Patterson also told us that many in attendance today wore shirts showing support for the Doss family.  Patterson said that Mr. Doss is singularly focused on raising his daughters after the loss of their mother.
