Tuscaloosa Sends Local Heroes To Texas For Flood Victim Search
The best thing about America is what happens when a disaster hits a community hard.

It's happening now in Texas with our very own hometown heroes from Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue assisting in the search for the missing flood victims.
The numbers have come down from the previous staggering levels, and now only three victims are unaccounted for in Texas.
Local units from Tuscaloosa are working with a National Guard unit in Kerrville, Texas, and together they are trying to find the final few missing individuals lost in the massive flood from earlier this month.
The search area encompasses approximately 10 miles of the Guadalupe River, and the rescuers are dealing with extremely high and large debris piles.
It is believed that those three missing individuals have a high likelihood of being located within our assigned search division.
Yesterday, the team executed water operations to clear a significant strainer in the river.
Rescue operations are continuing today, and hopefully, some good news is just around the corner.
It's always great to see teams from our local community stepping up in the face of such heartbreaking tragedy in America.
We will continue to follow this story over the next few days with new information as it becomes available.
