Every year, this week is a hard week for our students at the University of Alabama.

It is the all-important FINALS Week! A week of study - a week without sleep - a week of STRESS! One of the ways to relieve stress is fellowship and food, according to the leadership at Central Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa.

And there is no better way than to have a FINALS FEAST!  The feast will have a "breakfast for supper" theme this year and will be served at 6:00 pm. All students in the Tuscaloosa area are invited to participate in this special event. Central Church of Christ is home to the Tide4Christ Student Ministry, an on-campus Christian organization, and they are feeding their students breakfast for supper this evening at Central.
Central leaders John and Nancy McDaniel, along with their crew, host this event in the bath during the Fall and Spring semesters. It is a way to encourage our students and to provide them with a warm meal as they start a stressful week.
This is not the only time Central Church of Christ has taken care of Tide4Christ. Every Wednesday during the Fall and Spring Semesters, Central members provide a Peak of the Week Meal before devotional and Bible Classes.
As we are all aware, many Alabama students are far away from home, and this type of event goes a long way in making them feel a little more at home. On behalf of many parents around the country, thank you, Central, for caring for our students.
