Starting June 19, 2026, a new statewide platform, RAVE Alert, will officially replace our current Everbridge system, also known as TuscALERT.
This upgrade brings modern, faster, and more reliable technology to deliver critical notifications directly to you when it matters most.
If you receive alerts from TuscALERT, check your email for important information on transitioning to the new system. You just follow the instructions in the email to make sure you are registered in the new system.
This new system allows Tuscaloosa County EMA to and their public safety partners to quickly distribute urgent alerts for severe weather, public safety emergencies, evacuations and shelter info, and missing persons alerts and other critical incident notifications.
