What’s Hanging Out Of This Car In Tuscaloosa?

OK, now I like a good joke as much as anyone, but I did not see this one coming.

As I was tooling down the highway in downtown Tuscaloosa and up to Lurlene Wallace, that’s when I saw it.

I really tried to be careful and not wreck while also getting a closer look at what appeared to be someone hanging out of the back of a vehicle.

The closer I got, the more it looked like an actual person hanging out of the vehicle, so I thought it would be smart to get at least some footage or a photo to show authorities.

As I was trying to obtain the footage and make sure I was driving steadily and getting closer, I realized it might not be everything it appeared to be at first glance.

Was an actual elf hanging out of the back of an automobile in Northport?

What in the world was I looking at?
