“At Tuscaloosa County High School, we believe that strong schools build strong communities,” said Ginger Martz, honors chemistry teacher at TCHS. “The Adopt-A-School partnership between Tuscaloosa County High School and Synovus Bank will be more than a collaboration—it will be an investment in our students’ future.”

Synovus is now connected with two schools, adding Tuscaloosa County High to its long-standing partnership with Verner Elementary.

According to the press release, “Synovus will bring volunteers to lead financial literacy sessions, support school activities, provide incentives for strong attendance and achievement, and help coordinate a major fundraiser to benefit TCHS.”

“Education is the foundation for a thriving community,” Martz added. “Together, Tuscaloosa County High School and Synovus Bank will be committed to empowering students with the financial literacy tools they need to succeed.”

TCHS also receives support from Remmert & Company and Shelton State Community College.
