Schools In Tuscaloosa Using Technology To Help Parents
Technology is moving pretty fast in 2025.
From artificial intelligence to robotics, if you don't adapt, you can get left behind.
Now, Tuscaloosa City Schools will be using a new digital app to aid parents/guardians with knowing where their child is during the school day.

The transportation department of TCS is meeting with the parents and families of students this month to roll out the new app and answer questions on how it works.
The app will allow parents/guardians to track all bus routes throughout the day.
TCS is using the tool for the first time during the 2025/2026 school year.
Tuscaloosa City School officials tell us they get lots of phone calls during an average day during the school year from parents asking questions about the buses and the routes.
Now parents will be able to get the latest updated information on their digital devices.
Meetings for the public about this new resource will be held on Thursday, July 24, at 12 noon and at 5:30 pm at New Heights Community Resource Center.
