
Trees Down And Thousands Without Power In Tuscaloosa County
After a violent storm moved through West Alabama Sunday Morning, there are currently multiple reports of power outages as well as dangerous roadways in Tuscaloosa County.
The Tuscaloosa County EMA made a post Sunday morning informing residents of multiple reports of downed trees in the county.
"Please use caution in the area of Hwy 69 North and Tierce Patton Road," Tuscaloosa County EMA said in a post while sharing pictures of trees blocking roadways.
Townsquare Media Chief Meteorologist James Spann posted multiple images featuring damage in Tuscaloosa.
Northport seemed to receive a lot of damage from Sunday morning's storm.
There was even reports of damage near Lake Tuscaloosa Sunday morning.
According to the Alabama Power Outage Map, there are just over 11,000 residents currently affected by power outages in Tuscaloosa County. In Pickens County there are almost 2,500 customers affected.
