The toy drive is ramping up this week with an R&R Cigar Mansion Christmas party on December 20 at 7 pm.

Bring a new and unopened toy to the mansion or First Baptist Church at 721 Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.

Toys are staying right here in our region to help families in need.

The R&R Cigar Mansion is at 2703 Gary Fitts Street in Tuscaloosa, and the Christmas party will also feature the chance to meet the famous "Cigar Claus" on Saturday evening.

"Cigar Claus" is a distant cousin of Mr. Kringle, according to genealogical research.

This Christmas could be especially meaningful for many families facing tough times this year.

Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved in this year's toy drive for West Alabama.

Earlier this year, R&R Cigar Mansion stepped up to help feed local families during the government shutdown.

Many families and groups lacked access to food, and that's when Reagan and his team at R&R stepped up.
