Tesla Cybertruck Banned From Alabama Dealerships

I have learned so much today about automobiles and Alabama. I took my first ride in a Tesla Cyber Truck, or as some apparently call it, a cyber beast. Folks, I have never experienced that kind of G-force while in an automobile. The only place I have felt that in the past has been in an airplane.

It’s so crazy that we videoed the experience, and you have to check it out. I’ve also learned about a very strange law in the state of Alabama, or at least it certainly seems that way to me. Did you know that it is not legal to buy a new Tesla from a dealership in Alabama? Tesla’s factory-direct sales and delivery model is either banned or restricted in several states, including Alabama. It has to do with something called franchise law. meant to protect Alabama’s independent auto dealerships.

Some people are confused and falsely believe that a Tesla dealership exists in Birmingham, Alabama, but that is only a service shop for Tesla. Tesla does sell their cars and trucks online, and my dear friend Steven Fikes from Allstate Tuscaloosa recently purchased a Cyber Truck and had to drive to Tennessee to take delivery.

Wait till you see this video of the Tesla Cyber Truck doing something that is truly mind-blowing and amazing. I sat in that Cyber Truck and watched as it went from a dead stop to 100 miles per hour in less than four seconds. That’s right, 0 to 100 in four seconds.

In addition to that, I cannot tell you or even put into words how incredible the self-driving mode is on Tesla. We’re not talking about simple lane correction. We are talking about putting in an address, and the Tesla doesn’t need you to hit one pedal or put one finger on the steering wheel. It will simply drive itself from point A to point B and then over to point C if you wish!
