After a great year for restaurant debuts in 2015, Tuscaloosa looks to continue growing its food scene in 2016.

The Tuscaloosa food scene just keeps getting better. I was driving downtown today and noticed some activity in the old Tin Top location at Temerson Square. I'd heard rumors of a new steakhouse coming to Tuscaloosa so I had to stop and check it out. I'm glad I did.

Should restaurants implement a no tipping policy? Joe's Crab Shack announced Wednesday it will join other chains and begin testing a no tipping policy with 18 of it's stores. Could more casual restaurant chains join the trend?

I read a story about Maggie's Diner on Tuscaloosanews.com a while back. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to stop in and see Miss Maggie or taste the food everyone raved about before the doors closed this summer. I love a good place to eat. We were excited when the first Dickey's BBQ Pit opened in Taylorville in March of last year.. Now, we welcome a new Dickey's BBQ to Midtown Village. They opened at 11am today! I will be frequenting this establishment often.
