Texas Roadhouse – A Burger Review
My son and I ate lunch at the newly opened Texas Roadhouse on McFarland Blvd. Last Friday. I was impressed.
I ordered the All American Cheeseburger, cooked medium well, with steak fries, fresh cut tomatoes, onions cut like I like'em and crunchy lettuce. I had to cut it in half to get started and from the first bite, I knew I'd found another burger in Tuscaloosa worth telling folks about. The patty was crazy juicy and seasoned perfectly.
Brody ordered the kids chicken critters. Perfect as well.
I had the chance to speak with Lauren McEndree, Legendary Store Manager. She was super nice and made sure to invite Brody back to Kids night on Tuseday's from 3 til 8. She told him there is a ton of fun with games, arts & crafts with Andy Armadillo (the mascot).
I liked the atmosphere too, the servers all were wearing t-shirts that read "I 'heart' my job!". They even stopped for a min to do a little line dancing!.
Over all, my first experience at Texas Roadhouse was great. I'll be going back to try one of their hand-cut steaks. See there Menu here.
FYI: These guys may have revolutionized the kids paper menu and crayons....Texas Roadhouse has triangle crayons....they DON'T roll off the table!!
