Should restaurants implement a no tipping policy? Joe's Crab Shack announced Wednesday it will join other chains and begin testing a no tipping policy with 18 of it's stores. Could more casual restaurant chains join the trend?

No worries for Joe's Crab Shack servers though. Servers start out at $14 per hour. CNBC reports CEO Raymond Blanchette says the new policy is

"Expected to result in an improved team atmosphere, a significant reduction in turnover and a greater financial security for the employees."

Joe's says it will make up the difference by raising menu pricing. I have yet to eat at a restaurant with a no tipping policy. Have you? What are your thoughts?
