President Pardons Alabama Students Famous Parents
For many years, one of the hottest and most popular reality shows in America has been "Chrisley Knows Best" and "Growing Up Chrisley".
It starred the Chrisley family and the parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Some may not know that one of the Chrisley family members is living in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Well, during the months from August through May at least.
Grayson Chrisley is a University of Alabama student!
Roll Tide!
The Chrisley kids got some big news yesterday. President Donald Trump called Savannah and Grayson yesterday to inform them that their parents were coming home soon.
It was just a few years back that Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion, along with submitting false documents to obtain large bank loans.
Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and his wife was given a seven-year prison sentence.
Well, apparently President Trump is a fan of the show, or just felt the sentence was too harsh. Some critics have been asking, "Is this the most important work for the President?"
If your name is Chrisley, we're betting your answer is a resounding yes.
The parents' conviction had much to do with securing a $30 million loan, which turned out to be obtained fraudulently.
In the phone call, one of the most interesting moments was about Grayson and his experience as an Alabama student.
Grayson told the President he was "kicked out of a class" for defending him.
It causes big sis Savannah to jump in and help tell the story.
