Potentially Life-Threatening Aldi Recall Hits Alabama
One of the most popular stores in Tuscaloosa has just been hit with a recall affecting multiple states throughout the south.
It's been announced that the grocery store Aldi has a recalled product that could pose a risk of being potentially life-threatening to certain people who ingest the product.
According to Newsweek, the FDA sent out a warning to people with sensitivity or an allergy to milk due to a churro bites dessert. Camerican International recalled boxes of their Aldi brand Casa Mamita Churro Bites. The churro bites are filled with chocolate hazelnut cream.
Undeclared milk is the reason for the recall, and in total, there are 13 states across the south included in the recall.

According to Newsweek, the churro bites are packaged in a 7.05-ounce box with a lot number of 01425 and a best by date of July 14, 2025. The FDA says that there have been no reported illnesses related to this recall.

If you or someone you know has purchased the recalled product, the FDA is asking that the product be returned to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
