Alabama has some incredible swimming "holes" as they say, across the state.

Places like Cheaha Falls in the Talladega National Forest and the Cahaba River, the longest free-flowing river in Alabama.
In this case, a 36-year-old man from Northport, Alabama, took his family for a dip in Pinson, Alabama.
The place is known as Turkey Creek's Blue Hole, and it attracts many from Alabama as well as other states.
That was the start of a frustrating and painful health issue that doctors can't seem to clear up.
The man, who did not want to give his name, said he was swimming with his family when he felt a sharp pinch or sting on his leg.
He quickly tried to look down and see what had bitten him or stung him while getting his family out of the water.
He noticed that his lower leg was red and swollen, with a little bit of pain in those first few hours.
The area started to look worse and worse in only a few days time.
It began to scare him and his wife which led to the first doctor visit.
*The man has shared some of the photos of his leg wound with us, but be warned, these pictures, below, are a bit graphic.
That looks pretty scary to me.
Doctors, and he has been to several, have not been able to give him and his wife one diagnosis.
Several doctors have examined him, and they all have had a different take on what is going on with this wound.
It may have absolutely nothing to do with the water he went swimming in, or it just might.
One doctor told him it was already an issue before he ever went for a swim.
For now, the man just wants to make sure that an infection doesn't enter his bloodstream.
Maybe a medical professional will see this article and the photos and leave an opinion in the comments.
Warm weather and swimming are about ready to take off in Alabama, and I would like to know what the verdict is on this injury/condition.
