Alabama Has Huge Connection To Stranger Things Finale

At the time, I remember telling my daughters I had no desire to pay a monthly fee for this Netflix when all they had were a bunch of older movies I didn’t care to watch. That’s when they said Oh, Dad, you are so wrong about that. They have Stranger Things, and it’s the best show ever.
The next night, I made sure we had a family Netflix subscription, and I started watching, and from the very first episode, I was hooked.
I believe season one and season five are the absolute best two seasons of Stranger Things.
It makes me sad that it’s over because season five has been excellent.
In particular, season five episode four titled “Sorcerer” might be the best in the history of the series.
The last 30 minutes of season five, episode four are so incredibly intense, but you are just sitting there with your mouth open and frozen, or at least that’s how I was.
The two-hour final episode, which played in theaters over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, was excellent; however, it was not as good as episode four, yet it was still outstanding in my opinion.
I could not help but notice, as we entered the final couple of episodes of season five, that one of my favorite characters, the crusty sheriff/Dad of 11, Hopper, was sporting a hat with an Alabama business logo on the front.
Specifically, a business in the city of Heflin, Alabama.
It is a town just off the interstate in Northeast Alabama.
The business is J.A. Owens Ace Hardware in Heflin, Alabama.
Well, technically, it's not even in business any longer.
Apparently, I am not the only one who noticed this hat, because it is causing quite a stir and even sparking a charity drive for an excellent Children’s Hospital.
