According to Sera Capital, it’s about a variety of factors, such as how often people volunteer in our state or give to charity.

They also look at how much is spent on holiday gifts, as well as how much we tip servers across the state.
Fascinating look at behaviors around the USA.

Now there’s absolutely no doubt that the South is just a kinder, gentler, and warmer place to live in this great big country of ours.

As we all know, we face competition in Alabama from other states such as Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida.

How did we fare in Alabama on the list of naughty or nice for 2025?

Let’s break out the rankings of the naughtiest versus the nicest in the USA!

On the NICE list:

10. Connecticut.

9. South Carolina.

8. Massachusetts.

7. Alabama!!!!!!!! YEAH!!

6. Ohio.

5. Texas.

4. Montana.

3. Nebraska.

2. Utah.

1. Kentucky.

The bluegrass state is coming in first, and it's somewhat surprising to see northern states like Massachusetts and Connecticut; however, in those states, you will find small towns, and people in small-town America tend to be more courteous.

Now let’s take a look at the NAUGHTY list:

10. New York.

9. Minnesota.

8. Illinois.

7. Washington.

6. Florida.

5. Georgia

4. Arizona.

3. South Dakota.

2. Arkansas.

1. Hawaii

What do the people of Hawaii have to be upset about, and therefore to come in first on the naughty list?

I’m a little taken aback by this development in the naughty/nice rankings for this year.
