It all started with caring friends and an online community motivated to get involved. Now, a dear friend of a woman from Alabama, suffering from stage 4 cancer, has helped rally folks to get her home to Alabama. Her name is Mariah, and much like other Alabama cancer patients, she had journeyed to California for special treatments. However, after undergoing treatment, the results weren't what she had hoped they would be.

Mariah, a mom herself, really started to miss Alabama more and more each day. That's when her friend Joslyn got on TikTok and shared her story about Mariah. It inspired bunches of viewers to dig into their wallets and help in any way they could. The video you are about to see documents her journey from California back to her sweet home, Alabama.

Her GoFundMe link is in my bio as well as @Justin Danger Nunleys bio. Anything donated will help her family support her and help her remain comfortable and safe during this time. And also with permission, I am tagging her ❤️@Kenzie Rayne @Mariah @Mom / Griffin Hazard @Chris Young thank you again. #tiktok#fyp#prayer#engagement#cancer♬ original sound - joslyn.marie

This is the kindness you would like to see more often as we scroll through social media. Instead of attacks, put-downs, name-calling, and ugliness towards each other. This is what community is all about, and it doesn't matter what state you are living in.
