Young Tuscaloosa Boy Close To His Dream Of Visiting Israel
When the young people in our church, our house, or our area exhibit a desire to do something good, I think it’s incumbent upon all of us to encourage and Foster that fire inside as much as we possibly can.

I recently had the opportunity to meet a young Tuscaloosa boy who is set on traveling halfway around the world so that he can one day reach the world. His desire is to reach the world for God. His mission is an upcoming trip to Israel, also known as the Holy Land.
Luke Thomas and his mother, Kristin, were recently guests here at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa. You can hear the conversation below.
His mother told us that her son has always had a heart for God, and this year, he has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a spiritual retreat in Israel. This journey is not only a chance for him to grow in his faith, but also to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, meet people in the community, and experience the Bible in an unforgettable way. His family told us that it’s a dream he’s held close for years, and now it’s within reach.
The Thomas family is doing everything they can to make this happen, but the cost of lodging, travel, and food is very expensive.
The family has a GoFundMe available HERE if you would like more information or to help with Luke's trip to Israel.
