Almost everyone agrees that live music is a great family event, and the City of Tuscaloosa is stepping up to the plate to deliver music downtown. It is the return of the City of Tuscaloosa’s annual free downtown concert series held every Friday in May and June, beginning at 6 PM and running until 9 PM.

LIVE AT THE PLAZA 2026!

Live at the Plaza 2026 is presented by Bryant Bank, and Coca-Cola United and will feature great bands at Government Plaza.

The kickoff event is happening this Friday, May 1, with Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos as well as The Patrick Barnett Band. Food trucks and vendors will also be present each week.

Live at the Plaza 2026 is always a rain-or-shine event, and everyone should be aware that FREE parking is available in the adjacent parking deck at 2230 7th Street.
