A long-time dream for a local family, Pastor and Raqui Garcia's dream has come to fruition — and it is already making a powerful impact in the community.

Kingdom Kitchen Outreach Center is now up and running, serving free, hot meals every Friday from 3:00–6:00 PM to anyone in the community who needs one.
What began years ago as a simple act of generosity—when the Northport community cared for Pastor as he arrived in the community with very little to his name, and knew no one else—officially kicked off with serving meals during Thanksgiving week and again at Christmas.
Those 2 meals quickly grew into something much bigger. Volunteers began signing up to help, donations started coming in, and a shared vision for ongoing outreach was born.
Last week alone, Kingdom Kitchen served 130 meals, many of them to children from nearby neighborhoods. At a time when many families are struggling to make ends meet, this has been a welcome blessing.
The dream of Kingdom Kitchen is to expand meal service to five days a week, but that growth depends on consistent community support. As donations and volunteers increase, they plan to add a second service day and continue expanding from there.
Beyond addressing physical hunger, Kingdom Kitchen is also deeply committed to meeting spiritual needs. Ministry care team volunteers are present during each meal to talk, encourage, and pray with anyone who desires support.
Looking ahead, the outreach hopes to offer even more services to the community, including a clothes closet, haircuts, and periodic basic medical care provided by local medical professionals eager to serve.
Kingdom Kitchen Outreach Center is located at 7115 McFarland Blvd, Northport, AL 35473, just behind 84 Lumber.

Because when a community comes together, no one has to go hungry — in body or in spirit.
