Colin Kaepernick's jersey sales have gone through the roof since he began his National Anthem protest.  A few weeks ago, he had the 20th best-selling jersey on the San Francisco 49ers team website. Now, he has the #1, #2, and #5 most popular 49ers jerseys and overall, his jersey is the fifth best-seller in the NFL.

And before you say people are probably buying the jersey to burn it . . . that would be quick waste of $100.

Additionally, many are forgetting Colin is still just the back-up. As expected, Blaine Gabbert was named the starter.

President Obama weighed in on all of this mess. He said that while it might be a "tough thing" to see Colin Kneeling during National Anthem, he's just exercising his constitutional right to make a statement.

He said the issues Colin is protesting are legitimate, and, quote, "Sometimes it's messy, but that's how democracy works."

Colin donated $1 million to charity, while the local police are threatening to boycott 49ers games.
