Alabama SGA VP Student Affairs Resigns In Wake Of Petition
Some drama on the campus of Alabama this week after a petition circulated to "impeach" the SGA VP of student affairs.

According to The Crimson White, the petition to impeach obtained about 100 signatures.
John Chandash is now the former SGA VP of student affairs, having resigned on Sunday.
The petition was in relation to allegations of a physical altercation between Chandash and another Alabama student.
The altercation happened at Bryant-Denny Stadium, according to The Crimson White.
This petition was started by a graduate student who alleged that his conduct at Bryant-Denny Stadium "abused the powers of his position and violated his duties".
Several students signed the petition, but others who wanted to were concerned about potential repercussions, according to a report in The Crimson White.
At this point, the SGA President, Lucy Bonhaus, will need to appoint a new SGA VP of student affairs in the coming weeks.
