An adult male is expected to survive a weekend shooting in Tuscaloosa as investigators continue to search for who is responsible.

Captain Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said officers were called to the 3300 block of Greensboro Avenue at about 7 p.m. Friday on reports of a shooting.

They found an adult male who had been shot in the leg, and Sellers said the victim is expected to survive.

Though early reports on social media said the shooting happened at a nearby gas station, Sellers said they have discovered and investigated a crime scene in the Rosedale Apartments complex.

The victim told police that a man got out of a vehicle and opened fire on him. No one has been arrested in the aftermath of the shooting.
