The conclusion of Saturday night's games in the SEC marks the conclusion of the 2025-2026 SEC men's basketball regular season. The next time fans will see their favorite team take the court will be in the SEC Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, March 11, in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The Alabama Crimson Tide earned the two-seed in the SEC tournament after finishing the regular season with a 23-8 overall record and a 13-5 record in conference play.

So, when does Alabama play in Nashville, and who is the matchup for the Crimson Tide? We don't yet know the matchup, but we do know when the Tide will play. Alabama's first game in the SEC tournament will be on Friday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m. CT.

 

We don't know the matchup yet, as there will be two games before Alabama knows its opponent. The 15 and the 10-seed will play on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:00 p.m. The winner of that game will play the No. 7 seed on Thursday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. The winner of Thursday's game will face Alabama on Friday, also at 6:00 p.m. The seeding has been finalized with the conclusion of Texas and Oklahoma's overtime bout on Saturday night.

 

10-seed Texas and 15-seed Ole Miss will play on Wednesday night. The winner of that game will play seven-seed Georgia on Thursday. The winner of seven-seed Georgia and either Ole Miss or Texas will play two-seed Alabama on Friday in the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament.
