Is ‘Perrying’ Is The New Planking?

Yesterday, Scott Shepherd and I debuted our first collaboration, 'White Socks & Perry Prison Shoes'. The song was inspired after Scott and I found ourselves discussing my husband's insistence to proudly wear his plastic sandals with white socks. He knows they're hideous, but his devotion to them is because 99.9999999999999% of earth's population wouldn't be seen wearing them in the dark.

Shortly after hearing our song, a listener sent in the above picture claiming Perry was the inspiration. Ben George, our Editor proclaimed that perhaps Perrying the new Planking.
