I’d Like to be an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Driver

Kimberly and I both saw the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile yesterday on McFarland. We were intrigued. We asked about it on air and Doug, who was having a birthday today, called with some information.

Doug put us in touch with Jenny. Jenny drives the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile. We asked her to stop by 95.3 The Bear studios. She was happy to.

Kimberly and I, along with the rest of our staff at Townsquare Media, were like kids. Jenny even let us take a RIDE! Folks were waving and snapping their own pics. It was really fun!

They will be at Winn-Dixie at 5 Points Saturday from 10am - 3pm then Winn-Dixie at Essex Square in Northport on Sunday from 10am - 3pm. You are encouraged to stop by with the kids and virtually drive the Wienermobile in the new first-of-its-kind app. They will be setting up fun activities for families and shoppers

Jenny and the Wiener Mobile are also in town recruiting drivers. Yep. They are looking for current students at the University of Alabama for a one year position to travel all over the United States driving the Wiener Mobile.
