They announced plans over the past couple of days for a new $6 billion manufacturing facility in Alabama.
The company projects it will hire nearly 500 employees for the new facility.
The jobs will require engineers, scientists, operations personnel, and lab technicians.
What city is this new facility coming to?
You probably could’ve guessed it, but yes, it is headed for Huntsville, Alabama.

Eli Lilly and its representatives say work on this new facility is expected to begin early in 2026, and, in addition to the 500 jobs expected, it will generate just over 3,000 construction jobs.
When will it all be complete?
It’s like seeing a movie trailer for a film you really want to see, and at the end it says "coming in Summer 2027."
Completion of this high-tech facility is expected in the year 2032.
