Gordo Plays Bayside Academy Says Diane Pounders!

The Gordo Greenwave are headed to round 3 of the AHSAA Playoffs!  They host Bayside Academy on Friday in Gordo and the city is ready for a slobber knocker!

On Facebook many Gordonians may have read that Bayside had advanced thanks to Diane Pounders while Max Preps (like Fox news and most media outlets last week) promoted Pike County as the wrong winner in their brackets all weekend. :)

Bayside played in last years Championship game and love to run the ole wing T.  This will be some "BIG BOY 3A FOOTBALL" and Gordo seems more balanced offensively than some years in our recent past.  I like Gordo to win this one 34-22 at home and in a game decided in the 4th Quarter.
