Fun Ways To Get Kids Outside In Tuscaloosa This Summer
Every parent is happy to find ways to get the kids out of the house as Summer break is underway.

Here's some exciting news from the Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA):
PARAkids Summer Day Camp is officially underway as of today.
It's for children from grades K-5, and the camp is filled with plenty of energy-burning activities.
The Summer Day Camp is built around recreation, discovery, and creativity.
It's also available at five locations to better serve the people of Tuscaloosa County.
This year, they have added new features, like swimming and field trips that are 100% optional.
PARA says the field trips are "exciting," and they want everyone to know that parents are welcome to come along and serve as chaperones.
Full day care is available Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-5:30 pm.
It started today so PARA is encouraging parents to get their kids registered as soon as possible.
Information on the camps and getting signed up is available below.

The camp officially runs from today through August 6th.
The locations include Belk, Faucett, Miller, Phelps, and Tingle.
PARA also would like families to know that sports camps are available from soccer to golf to basketball and even pickleball.
