Do You Know Matt And Jamie?

While driving down Skyland Boulevard, I came across this series of signs as I approached the intersection. I found the gesture touching and I'll admit, I'm more than curious about this unknown couple.

Are they even a couple?
Did Matt have a secret crush on Jamie and found himself unable to remain silent a moment longer?
Did Matt and Jamie fall in love, but were forced to break up because her parents didn't approve of their relationship because Matt didn't come from a wealthy family and Jamie moved away, but has been waiting forever for Matt to write her even though she's engaged to someone else now, but something compelled her to stop by the house she and Matt were going to live in after they got married and now they both realize they still have feelings for each other so now she needs to choose between Matt, her first love, and her affianced?

I've shared the picture on Facebook just in case Jamie was unaware that Matt is obviously crazy in love. I'd love to know their story.
