West Alabama Teen Fights Cancer And The Internet
Alabama's beloved teenager Will Roberts is in the fight of his life.

It has been up and down, and that is putting it mildly.
People from all over the world are in his corner and praying for him daily.
Will's dad, Jason, was on the Steve & DC Show on WFFN-FM (95.3 The Bear) to set the record straight on multiple issues related to his son.
Will Roberts has osteosarcoma, which is a rare type of bone cancer.
Thanks to Will's parents, especially his mother, Brittney Battles Roberts, his story has really traveled all over the world.
Will’s father told us they have received letters from several countries around the world.
Will's condition was a big part of the conversation, and after some relatively alarming scans a few months ago, that led to a new medication. A recent doctor visit showed some very encouraging signs.
For now, medically, it looks like they’re going to stay the course until the next big doctor visit.
It was very important to Will's father, Jason, to let the community know how much they appreciated the outpouring of support and prayer for their son.
They agreed it’s one of the pure and good things that has come out of something so dark and frightening.
However, the family issued a warning about the multitude of impostors who have popped up on social media, claiming to be family or friends and sharing false information.
This is a big deal. It is happening more than you can imagine.
There are a ton of these fake people/profiles popping up online.
Law enforcement needs to intervene in these kinds of cases.
Of course, most of that can be traced back to greed, but they want the community to ensure they receive updates only from trusted sources, i.e., Will and his parents.
