‘Blade Runner’ Charged With Murder

Oscar Pistorius, the double amputee who made Olympic history, has been charged with the murder of his 30 year old girlfriend in what South African media is reporting could have been a Valentine's Day surprise gone wrong.

Reeva Steenkamp was shot multiple times in the head, arms and arms. Pistorius is believed to have told police he mistook her for a burglar. He has been taken into custody and is expected to appear in court later today.

Yesterday Miss Steenkamp tweeted her excitement for Valentine's Day. She said: 'What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow??? #getexcited #ValentinesDay'
