Recently, a company, Wallethub, which is partly known for its exhaustive research on American cities, undertook a review of the top cities in America to celebrate the Easter holiday.

I’ve reported dozens of these types of stories, and my home state of Alabama is routinely ignored or just flat out near the bottom, only ahead of Mississippi.

This time, they got it right.

In these rankings of the best cities to celebrate the Easter holiday, they looked at several metrics.

Including the overall number of be believing Christians, the amount of family-friendly activities, churches in the area, and other related categories.

Overall, a little over 80% of Americans will celebrate Easter, and, according to the National Retail Federation, they will spend over $25 billion.

Now let’s get to the 2026 list of the best cities to celebrate Easter:

5. BUFFALO
I know this one caught me off guard as well, but we’re not talking New York City here.

4. LAS VEGAS

The survey highlights the surprising number of families that have migrated to this area over the last two decades.

3. NEW ORLEANS

I DID NOT SEE THIS ONE COMING.

Total and complete shocker.

2. PITTSBURGH

I have some relatives in this area, and this is a blue-collar salt-of-the-earth town of all-American families.

AND NOW......

1. BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA

We are number one! We are number one! We are the champions, my friend.

This makes total sense, and I believe it covers all of West Alabama.

No area has more respect and reverence for this Holladay than the deep south and Alabama.

Sweet home baby!

HE

IS

RISEN!!!!
