Annual ‘SantaCon’ Takes Place Friday in Tuscaloosa and Benefits Toys For Miners
If you're in Tuscaloosa this Friday night and notice a large group of people dressed as Santa Claus, don't be alarmed, it's just the annual 'SantaCon!'
SantaCon 2015 is being sponsored by The Super Rich Kids Network and Druid City Brewing Company and will help to benefit Toys For Miners.
Organizers are asking everyone that attends to bring a unwrapped/unopened toy for boys or girls ages 0-18. All toys will be donated to Toys for Miners, which is helping the families of miners that were impacted by the layoffs in the Brookwood Mines this year.
Tonight, December 10th, there will be a special kick-off event at Druid City Brewing Company! This event will also benefit the Toys of Miners charity. You can bring toys tonight as well.
Friday night, December 11th the annual SantaCon pub crawl will take over the streets of downtown Tuscaloosa and The Strip! Everyone participating is asked to bring their toy donation with them to the starting point at The Downtown Pub by 9:00 pm. A toy isn't required to participate, but IT IS STRONGLY URGED.
SantaCon is for those 21 years old and up.

Organizers are stressing to all participants to bring cash to assure the drink ordering process goes quickly for everyone and don't forget to tip!
