Alabama Walmart Stores Now Locking Up Another Department?

I typically go to the Northport location, and it is SO frustrating.

Of course, it isn't like they are targeting Alabama. I'm sure it is nationwide.

However, now that some other areas have already seen locks on some new departments, I'm sure it will be in Alabama stores as well.

You are not going to believe what they MIGHT be locking up at stores shortly.

What should have been a quick ten-minute trip turns into an hour-long saga.

All due to the LOCKDOWN of so many products in the store.

Deodorant, body spray, razors, and even the toothbrush.

SIDEBAR: How much is a toothbrush anyway?

Wait, you want to buy some cologne?? I don't think it is possible these days.

Really? The toothbrush?

How many of those "toothbrush theft rings" are a problem in Tuscaloosa or across Alabama?

Is that what the gangs are looking for now?

Initiation has really changed. I'm laying on the sarcasm pretty thick, but it is pretty annoying.

I could not believe it when I saw several TikTok videos pointing out another thing being locked up at a Walmart store.

The meat department?

I guess people are stuffing meat in places they should not be putting meat.

It's a big, goofy world.

The word is that shoplifting causes these corporations to up the prices to compensate for losses. Either way, WE PAY!

We either get increased prices or an hour wait for someone to bring a key and let me grab the Old Spice.

The issue has, of course, turned into a racial one. In some circles, that is.

Why, why, why?

With Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens stopping the lock-up of any black beauty products.

And no explanation as to why. The only answers (if you want to call them that) came in this piece below.

A friend of mine recently informed me that her local store, in South Alabama, was locking up the UNDERWEAR!
