An Alabama couple experienced a parent's worst nightmare. They discovered their 13-year-old daughter missing at 2 am on Christmas Eve.

The Florence, Alabama parents quickly determined their teenage daughter was a runaway.

Florence police investigated and located the 13-year-old at about 3:30 am. Two Tennessee males were arrested with the young teenager.

The Tennessee men, Jarvan J. Theus and Malek A. Taylor, both 18, were arrested for traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act. Police said sex acts had taken place.

The child was returned to her home. The men were held on $60,000 bond each.
