
How High Does Alabama Rank On New “Phat List”?

I love Alabama. I love unhealthy fried food.
I love sweet tea. I have embraced my fluffiness. What is wrong with that? Please don't lecture me about the health consequences because, as an adult, I am aware of the implications.

Alabama is phat, but I digress. Okay, the “for real” obesity rate is rising in most parts of the country.
Younger adults are growing fast, per a newly released report by Invigor Medical. I mean that literally.
Congrats to my sweet home, okay Splenda home, for a 7.4% increase in the obesity rate. That gives us the 3rd fastest obesity increase of any state in the country. Have you been to Walmart lately?
Actually, middle-aged grown people suffer most with obesity.
So what about Ozempic and all the other trendy weight-loss jabs? They have yet to make much difference in national obesity numbers.
Much of this article was written tongue in cheek.
