How about this for a post you can share on Facebook?

Mark Zuckerberg and his company, known as Meta, have announced a significant investment in the state of Alabama.Initially estimated at around $800 million, it has now doubled to $1.6 billion.
Meta and this commitment could be just the beginning of a partnership in our state that could lead to plenty of high-paying jobs in the future.
The project is under construction in Montgomery, Alabama, right now. What exactly are they constructing in our state?
Well, it’s known as the Montgomery data center.
The Alabama Department of Commerce says this confirms Alabama's reputation for technology and innovation.
Meta has been leaking details about this project since 2024, and once it is complete, it will total more than 1.3 million square feet and support over 100 jobs.
The data center is expected to be part of the global infrastructure that runs the technologies Meta uses for its popular platforms, Facebook and Instagram.
Meta considered multiple cities and states for this type of data center and chose Alabama based on lower construction costs and other considerations.
This could be another important moment for Alabama, as the state continues to shine as a great place for tech companies to invest and build.
