With Summer ending this week (Fall officially begins Thursday), kids begging for help with homework, and that boss that makes you want to drink wine every day of the week ... before you go pick up the bottle, read these 10 ways to de-stress your life:

1.  Get up 15 minutes earlier.  (Although I dread the thought of this, I ALWAYS feel a bit more organized when I have more time in the morning. Trust me, 15 minutes of getting stuff done is worth trading a LITTLE sleep)

2.  Don't rely on your memory.  (Write stuff down, it will help you remember! I love keeping a planner to track my week, my workouts, etc.)

3.  Say "no" more often.  (Meaning don't over commit to stuff ... unless your kid needs help with homework - you probably should say "yes" to that.)

4.  Simplify your meals.  (I love food. I love GOOD FOOD. But taking one day out of the week - mine is Sunday - to meal prep and get food ready for the week ... will be one less thing to stress about later)

5.  Break up large tasks into smaller tasks. (I'm in the middle of wedding planning and I feel like I have a million things to do, but breaking

6.  Stop trying to "fix" other people. (Just be you. That's all your REALLY have control over anyway.)

7.  Look up at the stars.  (Not every problem is the end of the world - put things in perspective)

8.  Pay attention to your breathing, and stretch.  (Especially during long work days! This can immediately give you the energy you need to push through the last couple hours at the office)

9.  Strive for excellence, NOT perfection. (Nobody's perfect. Work hard to be the best version of yourself)

10.  Freely praise other people.  (It'll make you feel better about YOURSELF too!)
