Congratulations are in order for ten Paul W. Bryant High Seniors who each recently brought home a $5,000 scholarship from Byant Bank at the high school's annual honors night.

Each recipient was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to The University of Alabama. Anna Laurie Bryant McKibbens, Corporate Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Bryant Bank, presented the scholarships.

“The faculty and staff at Paul W. Bryant High School work diligently to help all students achieve success. We continue to be reminded of this through their students’ commitment to taking that next step in life. Once again, the school had an extremely high placement rate for Seniors. We take pride in contributing to that accomplishment,” said McKibbens.

The scholarship recipients were: Christopher David, Jakera Gavin, Sydney Hughes, Cristal Marshall, Alexis Martin, Sherry Merritt, Sparkle McCrary, Breonna Munford, Nicholas Patton and Alice Ponta.
