The deposition stated the suspect, 57-year-old Anthony Dewayne Eubanks, became upset when the woman refused his sexual advances.

Eubanks allegedly tried to prevent the victim from leaving his bedroom, accusing her of taking money from him.

The woman managed to get free when Eubanks followed her to the front porch of the residence where he stabbed her in the upper back with a kitchen knife. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated on the scene.

Eubanks was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
