‘Witches Ride’ Coming to Tuscaloosa Sunday, October 21, 2018
A whimsical new fundraiser is coming to Tuscaloosa this fall. The first-ever "T-Town Witches Ride" is going down Sunday, October 21, 2018, and you're invited to join the festivities.
Don't worry--there's no need to call an exorcist! The T-Town Witches Ride is a fundraiser for The ARC of Tuscaloosa, a fantastic non-profit organization that assists people with intellectual disabilities. Here's more on the event from The Arc's website:
Tuscaloosa will begin a whimsical Halloween tradition with our local “Witches” flying through the streets on their “broomcycles” to raise money for The Arc of Tuscaloosa County and the 300+ individuals it serves in our community. Women 18 years of age and older are invited to participate in the first annual T-Town Witches Ride. Family and friends of all ages are encouraged to line the sidewalks to view the parade of witches flying by. After the ride we will celebrate at a “Black Cat Block Party” with entertainment, raffle prizes, kids activities and awards for our winners. Registration is $25 per witch and will begin soon! So ladies, get your most creative witch costume ready, decorate your broomcycle and get ready to fly!
