Winter Weather Already Causing Problems on Alabama Roadways

Alabama State troopers have already been busy today responding to two separate wrecks due to ice on the roadways just south of Tuscaloosa.

Senior Trooper Reginald King has reported that they are working several weather related crashes on I-59 (Southbound) between the 16 and 23 mile marker in Sumter County.

If you should need to travel today or tomorrow during the possible hazardous conditions, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency urges caution and has prepared a list of traffic safety tips.
