Mississippi State got absolutely walloped in Tuscaloosa on Saturday by a Crimson Tide team seeking to bounce back after its loss to Tennessee. Mike Leach's air raid offense was all but entirely shut down as the Bulldogs failed to score any points until the final 20 seconds of the game, their first touchdown in Tuscaloosa since 2014.

Quarterback Will Rogers had a night worth forgetting in the losing effort. Leach asked him to pass the ball 60 times and he was inly able to connect with his target 30 of them. He also took nine sacks and was knocked to the ground many more times than that by Will Anderson, Jr. and company.

However, that didn't stop Rogers from being a class act of a human being after the game.

As he and the Bulldogs made their exit of Bryant-Denny Stadium, Rogers was caught on video escorting an elderly event staffer up the exit ramp.

Alabama fans were sure to express their gratitude for his gesture.

Rogers and the Bulldogs are not having the season they hoped to, but the junior quarterback from Brandon, Miss. has a bright future ahead of him.

It will be Rogers call whether or not he wants to enter this year's NFL Draft. Many professional teams would count themselves lucky to bring in someone of both his skill set and composition of character.
