Wild Bill’s Friday Football ROUNDUP

Last night #1 Tuscaloosa Academy entered the 4th quarter down 14-0 and came back to win 15-14 by scoring on the last play of the game.   An exciting 31 yard Touchdown pass from Alex Johnson to Cameron Chambers, followed by a 2 point conversion that secured the incredible win for the Tuscaloosa Academy.

WEST BLOCTON @ ACA:  ACA is ROLLING behind a great offensive line this year and they just might have the craziest student section in high school football this year.  Coach Chris Smelley who played for Steve Spurrier knows QB's and he's got a good one in Lawson Pratt who loves to connect with Kamari (Ka-Mar-E) Lassiter who looks like a young Calvin Ridley.

TUSCALOOSA CO @ VESTAVIA HILLS:  It's crunch time for County high, undefeated Vestavia tonite, followed by Thompson and Hoover.  The Wildcats play in the SEC of Alabama high school football and thats a fact Jack!  

BROOKWOOD @ HILLCREST: Hillcrest is a buzz saw and the blade is named (Ki-Ya) Moore, a RB with speed and a low center of gravity.

NORTHRIDGE @ PAUL BRYANT: GAME OF THE WEEK, I love the rivalry between the Jags and the Stampede, Bryant is undefeated, balanced on offense, and winning with defense. If Paul Bryant wins they will go 4-0 for the first time in school history. This one may be decided in the 4th Quarter.

CHILTON CO @ CENTRAL: Central Falcon RB Javonta Leatherwood is an offensive machine thats totaled over 700 yards in 3 games...and he's never played a 4th Quarter.
