Why 26 Men Were Arrested Over 2 Weekends In West Alabama

26 men were arrested over 2 weekends in West Alabama for human trafficking.

The arrests happened during an undercover operation along the interstate 20/59 corridor.

The men were busted on charges ranging from soliciting prostitution, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, promoting prostitution, to traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sex.

The human trafficking task force also rescued one trafficking victim.

The operation was part of the 2019 National Johns Suppression Initiative.
