Which Alabama Business Is Giving All Employees A Raise Next Month?
At a time when eggs are a struggle to afford at the grocery store, this is some welcome good news.

We could not find another company in Alabama or around the country doing this for every single worker across the board.
According to CBS News, Costco is raising employees by up to $32 an hour for many employees and $30 an hour for everyone else.
That's much higher than the average hourly rate of around $26 for most in the USA and Alabama.
Costco employees had been threatening a strike and worked out a last-minute deal. However, the union does not represent any of the employees in Alabama.
In fact, only a small percentage of their workers are represented by the union in a handful of states.
Costco has five locations in Alabama, including Hoover, Montgomery, Huntsville, and Mobile.
Costco employs over 250,000 people and management believes it is critical to stay ahead of their competition.
Management says it is not by accident, it's their strategy to keep workers earning more than rival companies they consider to be competition.
Top clerks will get just under $32 and top assistants will make $30.20 starting March 1.
The company is also known for the vacation time it offers employees. That vacation time is being increased for first-year employees and workers with 30 years or more with Costco will get an extra seven days of vacation time.
Experts say that compensation and benefits are critical to keeping employees and avoiding high turnover.
The company saw revenue grow to just over $250 billion in the last fiscal year.
